I'm starting to wonder why I spent money on Live.

My friends and I would like to play a game together, but the invite system is not working. The only source of problem I suspect is my network setup. The Xbox is hooked up to my iMac via Ethernet which goes online through a wireless router. The firewall settings are correct for Live. Multiplayer works, it's just private chats and game invitations that doesn't work.

I'm also having trouble getting Live Messenger to sign-in and the video marketplace won't load past the first menu or two, so I can't actually see any TV shows, movies, or music videos. Maybe all of these problems are related.

I've noticed my NAT settings are strict, according to the Xbox Live Connection test. Any idea how to make them not strict?
