OK,

So apparently you can't submit Apps at the moment using Xcode 4.5 (makes sense its a beta). So I need to keep my Xcode 4.3.2 around until such time.

Anybody know where Xcode 4.5 gets installed? Does it install within the Applications area and overwrite any existing Xcode?

Can I install it somewhere else ? Previous to Xcode being installed via the App Store I could simply select a directory and have they co-exist. No idea if this is possible anymore?

Mark.

Xcode45-DP1 is a separate app. Drag it anywhere.

Thanks for this, I've been doing this for 4 years but I still don't really understand whats going on with XCode after they moved it to the appstore and sandboxed.

Well this only applies to the DP of xcode4.5. Once it is released on the App store you will be able to use it to submit apps.
