Hi Guys,

I just installed Lion today...I saw the free Xcode 4.1 opportunity and went ahead and tried to download it from the App Store. The program has been hung in Launchpad for the past 5 hours. It's status is "waiting"...

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks

UPDATE: RESTART TO REMEDY.

having the same issue, if someone could chime in that would be great.

I want xcode and Macports so I can install Samba 3 to get XBMC working again!

Me too. First of all it said there was a problem with the App Store then on a second attempt it's just sat there saying Waiting in Launchpad :(

Sorted...

I had the same issue, after logging off and unticking the option to reload windows, I logged back in, loaded app store and downloaded fine this time.

As above, I suspect it's struggling with open services and apps so a clean boot is probably the solution.

I restarted and this time it's hung on "downloading" but the download progress bar has a white projection which seems to me like a superficial downloading that isn't actually occurring. I'll keep the post updated.
