I had XCode 8.0 and the comment selection i.e. commenting out selected lines of code using CMD+/ was not working. I upgraded XCode to 8.1 today and still seeing the same thing. My MacOS version is 10.11.5.

    Is anyone facing it too?

It wasn't working for me neither after upgrading to xcode 8, it started to work after a reboot for my macbook and install of missing system components than xcode asked at launch.

@alinpha and @PhoneyDeveloper - Rebooting my mac helped. Never thought rebooting would fix Xcode problems. Thanks guys! :)

This worked for a while after rebooting my Mac, but after an hour it stopped working again. Not sure what stopped it. After googling I found a tweet and with that I am seeing +/ working fine for a while now.

Posting the tweet here if it helps someone facing the same issue - https://twitter.com/kolpanic/status/763323546814844928
