macOS Xcode: Need help applying a patch and then building the program.

So I downloaded this:

and got a bunch of files. So started looking for how I should use this.

I followed this:

I already had xcode installed and I also did step 2 & 3.

Now my problem: how do I add the patch I downloaded to Colloquy and how do I build? Step by step would be really helpful. 🙂




Nevermind: I was so tired (it's almost 3am) and my inexperience with C made me unsure.

I had to update xcode first. Then I just added the if-statement to the source code I downloaded from the svn and created a build and now it works. 🙂
