sorry guys for my dumb questions...
ok, i downloaded xcode from apple website. i installed the package. now how can i run? i can't find it any where...is it gonna be in application?

It's in /Developer/Applications

Click spotlight "top left magnifying glass" icon on the top menu bar (or) Command button+space bar and enter Xcode there and click in applications.

I have an Apple icon in the top left. 😛
