Hi I was wondering if anyone had success from a windows computer or linux to use XDMCP to login to a mac and have the mac desktop pushed to the client machine? I was thinking for my company that has 60 thin clients that we could get a mac pro and have the 60 thin clients xdmcp into it and all be running mac os? Any thoughts?

You can probably do this to run X11 applications on the thin clients, if you were to install X11 and gnome/kde/openoffice/firefox/thunderbird/pidgin et al on the X11 environment, but to my knowledge there's no solutions like this for thin clienting the Mac OS interface itself.

It may be easier and faster to get the Mac (or similar Dell/Lenovo) hardware and use a linux distribution (or solaris) which will already have all of those applications installed.
