Ended up getting a second XDR display for my setup, both monitors with the Apple Pro stands. Interestingly, it appears that both display stands don't have the same height. At the lowest height setting, one of my displays is higher than the other. Anyone else encountered this issue?

Cheers!

Odd, that shouldn't be the case. I suspect they aren't level. My two are perfectly identical.

I followed your guys' suggestion. Both displays are level and perfectly horizontal. Seems weird. I might need to call Apple for a replacement...

Maybe that's the beauty of having unique producs. The same principle as Steve Jobs would bring up, that since different iPods have different scratches, so as XDRs...LOL

Maybe OP could consider replacing the original ProStand with the VESA mount adapter, so that you could use a single arm (I wonder if there is such strong thing) to carry both XDRs, so that when you want to adjust the height and stuff, they could easily behave at the same pace.

I have two of my XDRs on a pair of Mantis 20 monitor arms from Monitors in Motion on a single pole. It works great!

Thanks for the suggestion. I have thought of that, but unfortunately I am outside the return window for my original stand. Oh well.

Is it possible that your desk or room is slightly tilted so the base themselves are on a slightly different height. While the monitor is leveled, the whole setup is tilted so they are on a different height?
Just my guess tho, it would be weird if there were such a big difference. You can probably try to switch the position or change the angle to make some tests.

Why don’t you just take a tape measure and check if the stands are the same height? If they aren’t, call support and get one or both replaced.

I had a pair of Dell ultrasharps in the past that were uneven in height as well it would drive me nuts. Hopefully, this is just a lone issue.

Hi,
I also have two XDR displays with pro stands, bought at different times and they are definitely different heights.
Pretty noticeable difference.
Has the original poster found a solution, since this post is one year old?
I can adjust the shorter one a little higher, so it's not really an issue for me, but it is strange that they do not have the same height.

I got the stand replaced.
