Does anyone know if this card is flashable and will work on a Mac Pro 1,1?

Based on this review on newegg it does work, i am looking for a ROM for it but haven't found one for it yet but they indicate that it is out there somewhere.

Pros: Great performance for the price! Works great in my Mac Pro (needs to be ROM-reflashed first).

Cons: None. Its intended use is a PC, where I found it installs an audio driver (nice!) but on a Mac there's no sound. Can't fault them for it though.

Yeah I just wound up buying a Mac version, paid a lot for it, but in the end I was after stability and full functionality, which is also why I picked up a used first gen Mac Pro.

Well newegg has it for 100 after rebate so I think I might pick it up and hope for the best. Is the performance that much better? I'm using the 8800GT 512 official Mac card.

EDIT: I decided to go for it and we shall see what happens. I plan on keeping the 8800GT in the Mac if I can satisfy power requirements for both cards. I already have 5 hard drives and 2 optical drives in there now.
