I got a 5,1 with open core , gop enabled, pixlas mod runing win 11 and Sequoia, and been using a rx 580 but this was to weak for my taste, so I got a xfx rx 6800 319 qick but when I try to use it the mac wont boot or give signal to my screen, also try with rx580 and rx6800 at the same time with no luck, is there any one who could help me understanding this?

Posting all the info here:
  1. Any model of the second generation NAVI cards to work with a MacPro5,1, are required to have the GPU firmware patched, did you flashed the GPU already? These GPUs require UEFI HII firmware support and the ancient Apple EFI 1.10 have none, so is required to patch the GPU firmware to bypass the requirement. Read more here, patched firmware files available here.
  2. NAVI cards when installed in a MacPro5,1 are supported up to Monterey - no Ventura, Sonoma, Sequoia or Tahoe. After Monterey Apple started to require the AVX2 family instructions with NAVI GPU drivers, which is not supported by MacPro5,1 or MacPro6,1 Xeon processors.
  3. Once the GPU firmware is patched with a PC, Monterey (again, no Ventura, Sonoma, Sequoia or Tahoe), Windows 10/11 and Linux will work with the 2nd generation NAVI card and MacPro5,1.
