I've been using XLD for a convenient 'one size fits all' audio conversion utility for a long while now. It's really slick except it apparently has vestigial code from last century or something as it will not accept a wav file larger than 4GB for input! As though you were using a Windows computer!

This doesn't come up too often. I can always use the conversion features in Reaper DAW instead for that. Still... Is there an update for this or a newer alternative audio utility app? I shouldn't even ever see Windows like restrictions like this on a Mac, right? :D
 
I don't know if Permute would help you out as a viable alternative?!

Most likely, the restriction was specifically introduced to make the program work faster.
