XMBC crashing?

Got the JB done and installed XMBC.
When I select XMBC from the menu, it switches to the XMBC for a second then goes back to the main ATV screen.
What am I doing wrong?

You need to install nito tv in your atv. This will take care the issue. It has something to do with update message and causing xbmc to crash.

What ios is running on your ATV the ios 5 versions require the nightly builds to run properly. Otherwise delete and reinstall cant expect much from a hack sadly.

Yeah, I think I need to try the nightly build route

I believe you need to go one step further to installing nitoTV and that is to install the updatebegone or something like that which is one of the packages that you can install with nitoTV.
