Been using XNJB with desktop iMac for years to download music onto my Creative Zen MP3 player. Just tried with new Macbook Pro 15" running El Capitan (10.11.3) and XNJB doesn't show up on the Desktop -- Device Setting says "not connected". I have seen the same problem on other forums but no solution or explanation. Anyone help?

Yes, I saw that but those comments only go up to 2011. There are no comments after that when newer versions of OSX came out. And XNJB was working for me on my iMac right up through Lion, Mountain Lion, Yosemite and Mavericks. El Capitan is what stopped recognizing it.

That sounds like they haven't updated it since 2011, unless creative update the software to work with El Capitan then you are bang out of luck.

Hi thanks for this. It would be nice to get something definitive before I buy a new music player. Other people are not having this problem with El Capitan.

Well the difference is whatever changed between Yosemite and El Capitan. I am quite tech-savvy but I know nothing about operating systems. What I need is an app that lets me link my Creative Zen MP3 Player with my Macbook Pro. I HATE binning things when they still work!
