iPhone XR XR landscape keyboard

This keyboard layout just feels awkward in landscape mode and this inner keys are hard to reach when typing in landscape mode. There’s so much wasted space on the sides.

Any way to adjust this?

Huh. Just checked my 6s+. Its the same. All that space on the edges. IIRC it wasn’t like that before. Maybe something in ios 12 stuffed it up.

If you turn on the zoomed view, it widens the keyboard.

That’s good to know. Thanks. I usually use zoomed view but I felt like I lost some of the landscape view added real estate benefits.
