Has anyone experienced this on their X/XR/XS? If you have the vibration set to anything apart from synchronized - and if you answer a call - it vibrates twice and the taptic engines makes two loud clicks. This is with attention aware features off.

Also if I have synchronized vibration with attention aware features on - the vibration doesnt stop unless I am 1-2 secs into the call.

I am on ios 12.1.1

EDIT : Apparently it is attention awareness independent. You can recreate by putting the phone on silent - setting vibration to anything but synchronized and answering a call. I dont know whether the two clicks are from the taptic engine or the speaker.

so it only happens with the alert vibration profile and nothing else.

Found a way to replicate it 100%.

1. Go to settings > Sounds > Ringtone > Vibration.
2. Choose Alert.
3. Flick switch to silent.
4. Answer a call when the phone mid vibration.

For some reason I get double taps/clicking from the Taptic Engine.

Is my device faulty? I’d appreciate it if someone could try it.
