The X is a fine phone.
Tho with an excellent camera, one issue is troubling: the picture is brighter than reality or necessity requires and highlights get blown all too easily, with the problem in video being compounded by the adjustment of the highlights from, say, ground to sky taking way too long.
Is it possible this would be addressed in an update? Have such issues ever been addressed in an update?
Would an app like Mavis or Filmic Pro give a different result?
