Hi guys, i have a question to you about iPhone XS durrability. Does anyone noticed if screen glass of the XS is more scratch resistant than last year iPhone X which was a scratch magnet btw.

I had no issues with scratchs on all my previous iphones, 6s plus, 5c, 4s etc.

I had iphone 8 plus , scratched quite easily.

Got XS Max last year and without dropping it, got a small couple of scratches you can see in certain lights. So this is the first time I have put tempered glass on my phone. Never had a case and still dont, never had screen protector until now. Seems the coating is weaker to me.

I had the X for just over a year and had several significant scratches that could be felt with a fingernail. I started out using anti-glare film on my XS but have since gotten rid of that. The screen just looks and feels so much better with nothing over it. No noticeable scratches thus far.

My Xs and the 7 before both scratch much easier than any previous iPhone I owned before. I don't remember my iPhone 6 Plus scratching this easy.

It's a little annoying and not preferred, but you get used to it. I just can't with screen protectors.

Neither my X or XS Max are picking up a single scratch. The screens seems every bit as durable and never scratched any of my iPhone screens.

You’re never going to find a consistent answer on this. There were quite a few threads when the 2017 iPhone X launch, others were complaining that the display scratching much easier and considerably over the previous GEN iPhone displays with the iPhone 8 and under. I don’t necessarily think it’s the display itself scratching, it’s the Oleophobic coating on the display that would show more find hairline scratches under certain light, but the trade-off, is the coating wears off, and if the scratches are deep enough into the display, they should dissipate over time.
