What are the chances of Apple releasing a XS Max in Product red later on around say March 2019? I was really hoping they would release one. My plans of purchasing a red iPhone 8 plus next month might not come true since Apple decided to discontinue the red iPhone 8

I would say it’s doubtful. Not to mention, Apple offers Product red for the new XR. And they never did release a Product red for the iPhone 2017 X.

It's doubtful but if Apple do release one in the future, it will be more likely for the XS. We should see lower sales for XS, and product red is a nice color and great advertising tool.

Product Red is already available in the Xr iPhone for 2019? Depending on how the sales goes with that color and if Xs sales are lower then expected Apple will release both sizes.
