So I am a loyal Sprint customer out of contract. And the Xs Max at 6.4" is very appealing
I call TeleSales and they offered me a 64GB my color choice iPhone Xs Max
$45/ a month with $41.00 in monthly credits. At the end of 18 Months I can pay off the phone at $267 and its mine.
Or get a new phone in 12 months.

I want someone to beat this deal or wake me up. Will try and post a cropped picture of the pdf contract confirming this.

That’s just went sprints offer is right now if you do a trade in of one of the newer phones (I think 7 or newer) or start a new line...

Not sure how anyone is going to pass that up...

At least around here, Sprint’s network is almost unusable, that’s probably partially why the great deal.

I am also a loyal Sprint customer (of over 5 years). I know, I know, it seems the vast majority of the rest of the world seem to really dislike Sprint but for whatever reason, I've never had any problems with reception, data usage, etc. We have five lines in our account (used in three different geographical areas), and have unlimited data (never been throttled, ever, even with extremely high data usage). Anyways, I saw that offer from Sprint and thought I was dreaming as well. It says with trade-in, a 64gb iPhone Xs is free and a 64gb Xs Max would be $4 and change per month. But the catch is that it is only for new lines and/or new customers. I already tried to get it but for current customers, with trade in of an iPhone 7 or higher (or various other newer devices), you only get half off the regular monthly payment of about $45, so it ends up being around $22/mo on Flex Lease. That's the same deal I got last year for my current iPhone X (traded in my iPhone 6 plus). I was planning on getting the Xs Max, but just may hold off until next year. Honestly I felt really deflated and disappointed when I found out I don't qualify just because I'm already a customer. I get that the promo is to entice consumers to switch over or for current customers to add lines, but still, what a way to reward loyal customers.

Not bad. So it will cost you your trade in, $4 x 18 and 267.

what are the credits coming from

It just appears as a credit for the promotion in your monthly bill. When the iPhone 7 came out my husband had the iPhone 6 and they had a similar offer, to get the iPhone 7 for free with trade in. He traded in his iPhone 6, and got the iPhone 7 for free but they way they set it up on the bill is as a credit every month. Without trade in, the iPhone 7 was supposed to be $22/mo. But since we had a trade in, our monthly statement would have a charge of $22, but also a credit of $22. So the phone was truly free. It was a great deal; he got a brand new phone for free in exchange for a 2 year old phone. And we were able to get that deal as current customers on an established line. I posted above that when I tried to get the deal today for the Xs Max, Sprint wouldn't allow it because I'm a current customer and it's only for new customers or opening new lines. The OP above said they were offered it as a current customer, though, so not sure what's up with that.

This is True and It does cost my Trade in S8+ Plus however I was part of Samsung Insights promo which ended this year. I was gifted an S8 + Plus last year By Samsung after 1 year it would be my device. So I am trading this device in.

We were with Sprint from 1999 to 2015. Our first carrier.

Sprint's been removing stuff for customers since shortly after the Nextel merger.

You might call retentions and see what offers they might have for you. But if they do, that's the best you're going to get.

Carriers admitted they lose a ton of money on the iPhone 7 promo in 2016. That’s why they didn’t offer anything similar last year or this year.

That iPhone 7 promo applied to all customers including new and old.

Now these days they all want u to add a line or be a new customer. They want NEW REVENUE.

Ive posted the Link Below. The Xs shows as $0 a month for 18 Months with trade in
And of course the Xs Max is just $4.00 a Month
And after that I will buy it outright.

Sprint is desperate. If not for T-Mobile buying them. Sprint would be dead in the water.

Just remember sprint is so desperate they were offering free year of cell phone service.

I guess if sprint works for you in terms of service. Than it’s a good deal for the new iPhone.

I have sprint work phone and verizon lte iPad and att personal phone. So I’m lucky in terms of figuring out service and data speeds. I just can never go to sprint full time as personal device. Coverage not as good. Data speeds atrocious. Verizon data speed has dramatically decreased as well. So att works for me. T-Mobile doesn’t work at all in my work and I can’t rely on WiFi calling.

So yes. It’s a good deal sprint is offering.

Yeah I am hoping for a Sprint Tmobile merger. I am excited at the XsMax because it has Radios for both and the newest Tmobile 600Mhz frequency band.

In a year, you'd be rolled into T-Mobile...
Incorrect. Sprint customers won’t be ‘rolling’ into T-Mobile for a couple of years. Regulatory approval won’t happen until mid-2019, then there will be a 2 year merging process. Essentially, up until the day of the official merger, there will be a 24 month period where every customer will be transitioned over and all the hardware will be merged. T-Mobile will have to maintain CDMA phones until their warranty expires... there is a lot involved. It won’t be fast!

What if you add a line in order to get the deal? If you don't mind a new phone number. Once it's added you can drop your old line

True but Samsung gifted my the S8+ I am trading in I was part of the Insights program.
So $267÷18 months +4 is $18 a month for 18 months and the phone is mine.
