Other XS Ships on 9/21... Slap in the face to X owners?

LOL seriously complaining about the freaking shipping date.
Seriously? You're upset because you can get it sooner than you want? I'm an X owner and I'm not put off by 9/21 in the slightest.
I like a good whinge just as much as the next person, but this is going way overboard.

I am assuming he meant for people that got the iPhone X on the carrier plans, which means now they have to pay two months worth of payments to "catch up" and meet the 50% paid off requirement to upgrade. Then they have to turn around and pay the tax for whichever iPhone Xs they want to pre-order Friday. So three payments in total they have make to get a Xs.
Glad I buy outright.

Expecting everyone else to wait until you’ve had your phone for a year seems like the slap in the face here.
Surely anybody who bought the X in November last year could have guessed that it was delayed due to production and that it’d be quite likely 2018’s model would return to a September launch.
Why would people complain about that? Most X owners are going to upgrade to the Xs/Max, esp if they're a part of the upgrade program.
Question. He said it SHIPS on 09/21. I thought when you preorder you get the phone on launch day? That's the way it's always been in the past

Entitled much? Some people just need a reason to complain. The new phones are coming and people are still complaining. I suppose you could wait a month to order it... would that help?
Why? It's such a minor upgrade

A real smack in the bum to X owners indeed. Tim Cook must have a personal vendetta against anyone who bought an X.
Apple's real slap in the face is not updating the iPad Mini in 3 years, not updating the Mac Mini in 4 years, and not updating the Mac Pro in 5 years.
