Less than a year cycle, I would expect Apple to ship a bit later than 9/21!

Always look at the bright side of life.... this way you'd never be out of standard warranty when you replace your X with a launchday Xs Max

Upset because they are shipping it too fast!!
And if it was going to take another month would that be another complaint??
This place is going crazy...

I am assuming he meant for people that got the iPhone X on the carrier plans, which means now they have to pay two months worth of payments to "catch up" and meet the 50% paid off requirement to upgrade. Then they have to turn around and pay the tax for whichever iPhone Xs they want to pre-order Friday. So three payments in total they have make to get a Xs.

Glad I buy outright.

Honestly though, this year might be a skip for me.

:apple:

It is more of a troll, I have the X and am fine with it hitting stores this month. Thought people would be complaining that the XR is coming next month, and the XS coming out this month.

Why would people complain about that? Most X owners are going to upgrade to the Xs/Max, esp if they're a part of the upgrade program.

Question. He said it SHIPS on 09/21. I thought when you preorder you get the phone on launch day? That's the way it's always been in the past

They always say that. And it usually ships earlier and you do get it on 'launch' day to line up with the people who still line up at a store. The few that do. :D

What's the justification for shipping their latest & greatest later o_O when there are no production constraints! I am already looking forward to unboxing the Max

A real smack in the bum to X owners indeed. Tim Cook must have a personal vendetta against anyone who bought an X.

Apple's real slap in the face is not updating the iPad Mini in 3 years, not updating the Mac Mini in 4 years, and not updating the Mac Pro in 5 years.
