Anyone else have this odd occurrence happen on their XS -

From standby you go to scroll screens and you very briefly see icons (let’s say your news app etc) slide under your fingers, as if screen burn images (but not) and the screen stutters before moving along as per normal.

It’s annoying as hell and clearly a software glitch.

It happens to me also ! When sliding through the home screen i can see like on the top left sometimes like an icon sliding briefly ! Hard to explain ! But i guess a software glitch

Yes! Exactly that. Really hard to explain but it’s so frustrating if you’re quickly trying to flick to an app from standby.

Good to know it’s not just me.

Yep, read this and swiped up out of Safari, then swiped the Home screen and saw it: a graphical glitch at the top left.

Can you record a video of it?

Exact description !

However, I do not think is possible to record it because it does not happen regularly !

I've tried replicating on my XS but I'm either doing it wrong or not seeing what you guys are.

Does this happen only right after you unlock the phone with Face ID? If so this happens to me randomly where I can see things like a space bar briefly pop up when I hit the messages icon. I find turning on reduce motion helps this Also if I wait a couple of seconds after unlocking it won’t happen.

Just installed 12.1.1 beta 2 and turned reduced motion off again. Ill let you know when if its fixed but it always starts a few hours after the phone has been rebooted. Its slight display glitch but really annoying when many of us unlock our screen 100s of times a day
[doublepost=1541632998][/doublepost]Spoke to soon it just happened. I unlocked hit the messages app thats on my dock and briefly saw what looks like the space bar pop up. Sometimes I see other numbers or letters pop up if I hit other icons on the screen or if I try to swipe screens immedialtly after unlocking it wont swipe but instead leter or part of app icons pop up under your fingers where you try to open or swipe. Its very hard to explain, capture etc but is much improved with reduce motion turned off.
[doublepost=1541633976][/doublepost]Another graphic display glitch I have is when I go into messages and click on a thread sometimes the KB pops up and then disappears until I type. Its clearly due to the animations as when I turn reduced motion on I don't have this issue at all. Apple clearly has some bugs in their animations that many do not notice or care about that some of us are seeing. I'm not super crazy about turning reduced motion on but it seems to resolve these 2 issues I'm having. My X did this too so its a bug in the software, something many are having and don't notice, or something is carrying over in my backup.
