HELP ME!!!

I have installed an xServe into a school and our purchasing people stupidly forgot to specify the additional 1Tb Hard Drive... Consequently we have 700 users using the 160Gb Hard drive - needless to say, it is now full (2 months later!)

In putting in a new drive, do I need to buy the apple specific drive? Does the xServe that I have installed (the latest generation) already have the drive bays so that I can install a third party drive or is this another way that Apple will screw me for every penny I have?! ;)

Thank you all in advance - this is urgent!

I believe you can just use standard 3rd party SATA drives. But don't quote me on that.

Apple's Xserves come with the drive caddys from the factory so unless someone removed them, they should be still there.

Don't count on apple for warrantees though should that 3rd party drive fail. but that's quite standard with all apple products.
