[Xserve] SSD in Optical bay

[Xserve] SSD in Optical bay

anyone has success on this? i have few microSATA to SATA optical bay tray that i know works, i put SSD in there, but in the system profile it says unknown... did anyone ran into that?
 
I don't have any specific insight other than I recall Xserves being extremely particular about SSDs.

Looks like you're forging your own way here, but check macsales.com Xserve upgrade pages for some ideas.
