xServe Updates

With the new Mac Pros, I wonder if/when Apple will update its xServes. Anyone hear anything?

Not likely until the end of the year, that segment of the market is way different from the Mac Pro users, and especially the Consumer crowd, those people know that servers don't get pushed out so quickly.

Last year they updated the MPs and Xserves at the same time. My guess is that they will be discontinued, like the Xserve RAID. I posted that in the Xserve forum, didn't get very much feedback though.

i sure hope they don't get discontinued. but you might be write, since they are selling a version of the mini as a server
