We have a linux webserver in our network which is running sql databases and some web apis written in php. We want to migrate the server too a xserve.
Is there anything we should consider?

Not really... the only thing you really need to check is your php requirements. By default, Leopard Server, doesn't include some features in php such as GD Library's, so you may just need to look into having it recompiled to your own specs. If the default install of PHP is all you need, then you're pretty much ready to go.
