xSlimmer - Monolingual

Are xSlimmer and Monolingual essentially the same?? I have no isses speding the $12 for xSlimmer if its a better product.

Can I please get some hands-on reviews these products. It kind of scares me to start ripping data out of the apps. I have used monolingual for language removal but not for the rest and I have never used xSlimmer

I don't know about Monolingual, but Xslimmer has a blacklist so that you don't accidentally strip an app that is known to break.

Xslimmer only works on applications, whereas Mono- can be used system-wide.

I'm an avid user of Xslimmer and the latest version has some nice features. It does a great job at stripping languages you do not use but only within your applications like dirt farmer mentioned above. I just installed Monolingual and ran it for the first time. It removed over 1.5GB of files system wide. That's pretty impressive.
