Hello, I searched for this subject but couldn't find anything.

For some reason Yahoo mail (through the internet, not the Mail app) is causing safari to freeze. I emptied the cache and have the most recent update of safari. I log into my mail account and after a few clicks I get the beach ball. A few hours ago it worked fine, what could have changed?

If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

its happened a few times to me. in-fact yahoo mail and a split second of opening the app store is the only time I've seen the beach ball. I've changed all my accts. over to hotmail and gmail(all the important ones) and don't use yahoo anymore.

also not just a mac problem had it on my pc as well.

I've experienced the same thing & I'm glad I did.

It makes me appreciate Google Chrome even more.

I rarely use Safari any more.

moving from safari

I would much rather continue using safari, I have all my bookmarks on there.

Any idea on why this behavior would change from one second to the next?

not a universal problem i guess; no problems here (10.7.1), and i've had a yahoo account since the late 20th century (LOL).

copy your Bookmarks.plist from User>Library>Safari (just in case), and def try a reset of safari...
