anyone else same issue. Reinstalled it. Turned phone on/off. Just won’t load any mail inbox. Get “no mail” screen. Funny thing can see mail in sent and trash folders. Been acting up ever since got new phone. Any suggestions?

I believe OP may be referring to the Yahoo email app itself, not an email account in the Settings app.
Unless you are meaning that OP should do that in the Yahoo email app?

He could try on there too but why use the yahoo app if the mail app built in has yahoo

Because the Yahoo email app can also double as an authenticator.
I see your point and on my primary phone I have my Yahoo account hooked up in the Settings app, but I do have the Yahoo email account on a secondary phone because I have set some security on that email account and it uses the actual app for authentication.

I downloaded the yahoo app and works. It’s the mail on my phone that won’t work. Don’t want give up my email I have had since college. I’ll just use the dumb app.
