Greetings and salutations to thee, MacRumors-ians! This humble knight call'eth upon thee for thine expertise and gentleness!

This knight hath procure'th'd a fresh computo-box: ye Macbook Pro! Ye Macbook Pro be'ith more swift and robust than this knight's aged iMac.

Ye Setup Assistant hath been engaged and transfer hath begun through ye wireless network, and numerous hours hath it been transferring! This knight estimates 100 gigabytes worth of computo-knowledge be'ith in need of transfer!

'Tis this a normal time for such transferrance?

    This query now concludeth!

If you transfer via a wireless network, than 100GB can take from 170 minutes (at a constant transfer speed of 10MB/s, which requires at least a 802.11n capable router) to853 minutes if you only have 802.11g capable router.
