I fear for the future of this country. Can't people make decisions anymore?

Its on eBay. The price I listed is after Bing Cashback and eBay Bucks.

No, I can easily make my own decisions - I just thought it might be nice to use the Buying Advice forum for, you know, Buying Advice. I don't tend to throw my money away and like to make an informed decision; sometimes, that involves asking the advice of others.

The thing is though your question is not all that unique. Mroogle it and you'll see what I mean.

I'd buy the new one if the old one is on eBay.

I realize that others have asked the 13 vs 15 question many times before. But there's never been the issue where the 13" actually has the hardware edge. Basically I'm between a few hardware perks vs. the larger screen and resolution of the 15". I like the size of the 15" better, but the 13" does have the advantage in terms of features.

go for the new one, and for the 200 bucks u saved buy a 22" or 24" external monitor. so u can work on a big screen at home and have best portability on the move with 13" and 10h battery.

That's exactly what I've been thinking... My only thought is that I'm a pretty big guy and I feel more comfortable holding the 15" than the 13. Just fits better in my lap, I guess... :)

There's no real difference in size between the 13 and 15, just screen resolution. I use both sizes frequently, and I like my 13" more. The side bezel bothers me, and I don't wanna risk getting dirt/crumbs in the speakers, there's enough junk in my computer already.

I'd say, get the 13, from the apple store, for 1100 (student discount) and dont forget the free printer. WIth the rest of the money, get an SSD and just chill.

After you get the SSD set every program to run at startup and show everyone you know how fast that thing is.
