Yellow tint return

I thought I could live with the yellow'ish tint at the bottom of the screen but it just keeps bugging me. My iMac is a late 2012 covered with AppleCare extended so I guess getting a replacement shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

You think Apple would accept me upgrading the HD at the same time and paying for it? Like sending me a model with faster HD but same specs?
