Another problem with installer seems to have arisen for me it seems. I have about 4 pages worth of apps on my iPod now, but I can't seem to get any more. Whenever I try to DL an app, it downloads it, but when it reaches the Installing phase, installer just quits. I also note that if I look in my applications folder on mobile finder, I will find a "ghost" of the file which I can just delete. I tried rejailbreaking my iPod but that didn't seem to help at all. I am on firmware 1.1.1. Oh, and it was giving me warnings earlier of it running out of disk space even though I still have 6 GB left.

did you move the applications folder off the system partition onto the music partition? if not thats why u get out of disk space the default place the applications install to has a limit of 300mb, install community sources then boss tools and that has an option to move the applications folder to give more space
