I never understood the reason to buy them in the first place. It is just a website that posts other companies news. There are no Yahoo original stories anymore. What is there to buy? A 486 sitting in a closet running LAMP?

Mainly it's the users. There's plenty of content that Yahoo! still creates and produces too.

lol.. i can't believe u keeping all this info. and posted it quite well.. :D With any luck Verizon will kill off the mail service so you won't have that problem anymore..

Thanks. Just quick google searches. I haven't had a Yahoo! account in ages though.
 
Where is the content? I have seen zero original stories in the last month.
Various parts of at least Sports, Finance, Entertainment, Tech, and News are something that come from Yahoo! rather than just aggregates from other sources.
