I had heard that Apple guarantees 70% health up to 300 cycles. Anyone confirm this?

Either way...Battery does not last long!

MBP 2.16 C2D bought in Oct of 06.

show them. If it goes below 80% in under 300 cycles, they'll give you a replacement;)

I seriously doubt they will. He bought his laptop in October 2006, so the battery is over 2 years old. The battery comes with a 1 year warranty.

I'd like to see that happen - I had no luck with a replacement due to the battery AGE being at 30 months - few cycles though.

Agreed. Its 300 cycles or 1 year. Whichever happens first.

I think I have seen a post in here saying that your battery warranty will expired only when both conditions are met:

    1. One year
    2. Over 300 Cycles

    The Battery has to be:
    Less than one year old
    Less than 300 Cycles
    Less than 80% Health
