Yoobao leather iPad 2 case (Smart Cover sleep/wake function)

Just bought one too...wish it were Amazon though. I dont much care to purchase from online vendors that arent UBER established. Let's hope its right (and that our credit card information doesnt get distributed to every person in Guangdong province!)

I used Paypal so hopefully I have some protection, although I am sure your cc info is quite safe. I ordered my Yoobao direct from China last year with my credit card, and had no problems. Did you get a shipping date from them? - I did not see any notification about delays until March 26 like the Amazon sellers were posting.
Is this the correct Yoobao model?

How long is the handling time? According to my supplier, he don't even have any stock yet.

Yeah, Yoobao always had a problem with brown. Their first brown was more of an orangy brown.

I wish they were able to create something similar to the Slim model from the iPad 1 but seeing as its thinner and that the underside curves in, there really isnt much to hang onto which unfortunatly leaves the big (and IMO ugly) leather frame around the iPad 2's surface area.
I also wish the individual speaker grill cutout holles were SLIGHTLY larger. It looks like they would muffle sound if the holes were not 100% aligned correctly and making 100% contact with them.
Looking forward to new designs from Yoobao and for please god let them open an official international retail sales website where you can order directly from them!

Just to confirm, is this model made with PU leather (processed leather scraps sandwiched with glue, heat and pressure with a nasty smell) or is it Genuine Leather?

If it doesn't say it, it doesn't. But they most likely will include this soon.
There's also is a 'Chinao' case that's available now, that doesn't have the magnets. I use that case on the previous iPad so I want this case fro the new one, but will wait for the magnets as that is a very good feature of the new iPad, IMHO.
The smart-case feature is a great improvement. In combination with 'instant on', the smart-case feature makes using the ipad a lot easier.

I just checked this morning on my order for the case from the Obostore, and it shows as "shipped" already. I agree about the brown with the white iPad, that's why I ordered this color.
They actually seem like a great seller to deal with; there was a mistake on my checkout page through paypal, my shopping cart on their website kept showing up as "empty", forcing me to repeat the process twice. The end result, upon receiving my confirmation email, was that an order had been placed for 3 covers. Yikes! However, I contacted them and they quickly corrected it, no problem at all.
Yes, they've had that feature since their original cover, which I have had for the past year; it wore amazingly well through very heavy daily use.
The cover I already have folds back flat when I hold the iPad in the "reading" position. As time passed, it folded back even flatter.
I live very close to ebay yoobao seller "Kevin" and we met this afternoon because I purchased a spare iPad 1 case from him. He told me that the new Yoobao iPad 2 case uses magnets to turn off/on the iPad.
He showed me the new Chinao iPad 2 case and it looked pretty good. I personally prefer the Vaja Agenda 2 style case so these aren't really my style. He also indicated that Chinao has a Vaja Agenda clone coming soon for Ipad 2.

That sounds amazing, especially considering the prices of the Vaja cases! I might just pick up this newer version as well.
