Yoobao leather iPad 2 case (Smart Cover sleep/wake function)

CA maybe? I noticed that there are Yoobao authorized retailers on ebay that are based in US as well.

I had ordered one for this guy on Amazon. His ad stated that it wouldn't be ready to ship until April 26 but I overlooked an email that states it shipped out to me last week and should arrive either this week or next.
My guess is either thats a "pre-ship" trick so he could get his money from me or he actually got them in early.
Either way, hoping its the Yoobao case pictured and not a ripoff, although as I already stated, its pretty easy to get Amazon to refund your money if you get ripped off so I'm not too worried.
Here's what has changed since I originally ordered however:
1) The item on my order form, and originally pictured on the Amazon link above, was listed as a "Bear Motion" leather case for the iPad 2. -NOW- the item is listed as a Pyrus case.
2) The original "Bear Motion" case listed had Yoobao branding in the pictures (logo) and was also visible stamped on the front cover of the product itself. Now all Yoobao branding has been removed although the front cover stamps are still visible.
Honestly, I smell a bait-and-switch coming and likely going to have to file a complaint with Amazon. But no biggie...just thought I'd warn everyone that this link has changed significantly from where it was.

As long as the item you receive is identical in every way to the Yoobao case, I don't think you have anything to worry about. The Yoobao factory could be a CMT for other brands, which means the product would essentially be the same.

This just made my day. I have been looking for a thin leather case with sleep/wake functionality along with an opening for a mic. I have been looking everywhere and every picture of an iPad 2 case I have seen so far I could not tell if it had an opening or not. I was leaning towards this case anyways, probably would have made a small hole up top with an exacto knife if there wasnt one already.
I'll be ordering mine from amazon probably within the next 5 minutes. Hopefully some people on this forum will be getting theirs soon and can start posting some more detailed pictures.
As for the white stitching on black leather, personally I'm a fan of it. I plan on getting that one for my black iPad.

That's what I do but ill have mine Monday since its shipping tomorrow, my seller answers emails and gives updates so I don't have to wonder, well worth the $5 more. While other can't get a straight answer and have to wonder. The advantage of a honest real American seller.

You know what? I pretty much think you are right and some of these posts are "shills" for retailers, but that last Yoobao thread turned into page after page of name calling and that ruined it.
Can we just drop this and assume that all of us reading this thread are intelligent enough to recognize them? I'd really like to see this thread remained focused on the Yoobao cases, where to find them, pros/cons, etc.

I agree, this thread should be for MR members to share their pros/cons and experiences with Yoobao cases. Basically help each other out with finding the best prices and shipping (it's why I created both Yoobao threads). However certain sellers have been booted of off MR's for a reason and making fake accounts to put down certain sellers and shill their own product is just going around MR mods and breaking the rules.

How could you have offended anyone by pointing Us in the right direction to a product we were looking for?? I came to this forum looking for information on this latest Yoobao product, and found it in this thread. I ordered cases from 2 different sellers mentioned here.......does this make me a shill for either one of them?
I never stated anyone was necessarily a "shill". I do however have a sneaking suspicion that justanfyi is the seller known as Kev**** (or at least someone associated with him). Personally, It does not matter to me one way or the other. If I were buying this case, I probably would have gone with the Amazon seller as well (mainly because it's cheaper and I have credit with Amazon). When it comes to buying from eBay, I prefer US sellers, but we're not comparing two sellers on eBay here.
As for the "support the US seller for the sake of the economy" message being preached... Does it really matter? The product we are talking about is coming from China! When they were campaigning to "Buy American" it was to buy products MADE in the USA, not just sold here.
Anyways, I hope everyone that ordered a Yoobao case finds what they are looking for (regardless where you ordered it from), and please shoot some pics and let us know what you think! I'm going to wait it out a bit and may try the Marware Microshell Folio first.

Thanks for posting these - those are the two colors I ordered, not sure yet which one I will keep. In your opinion, which is better looking, the brown or the red?
Did you order these off of Amazon or Ebay? I am curious which one will arrive first.
Personally I decided to go with the black. All their colors look great, I'm just a fan of the black with white stitching.
The brown would look fantastic with white but Im not so sure about black. Aaaa...this is bugging me. I need to order asap. Should I buy this or wait for Chinao to come out with their cases? Also, is Chinao better than these guys?
I think both will arrive at the same time. There's some delay on the black case though.

The last thing I want is a case that opens by itself when you are carrying it around.
Are the magnets powerful enough to keep it closed?
I kind of like the look of the Belkin Verve Folio for Ipad 2 and the fact that it has a strap.
Haven't seen any reviews so I am kind of undecided between this and the Belkin.
I also want a rigid case to protect from minor falls, however this case looks like it is malleable on the back.
The last thing I want is a case that opens by itself when you are carrying it around.
