    Second day running:
    I had all the windows freezing and I was unable to move them around;
    I suddenly had massive zoom out of control
    couldn't access mission control using four finger slide on touch screen

    The interface and Icon are nice but so far:

    I am not impressed with:
    Spotlight window appearing in the middle of screen and not being able to move it;
    Preview adding annotation just became stupid. Arrows and text drop at the centre of screen and then you have to move them to location required. You can now shade the rectangles but without transparency Preview still can't catchup with with Adobe.
    Airdrop still can't see the iphone and no apparent way of controlling it

    Although we love Apple but it seems it's infiltrated by X-Microsoft "brains" and it's loosing it

    Why can't you just ask your question on one of the existing threads?

    Simple logic: If most people are having NO problems, it's YOU not Apple.

    I did a clean install (habit left over from using WinDoze) and haven't had any issues.

    There could be a multitude of reasons, including a third party program that's not compatible.

    Given the number of old (> 1 year inactive) accounts suddenly waking up to post negative comments, I am beginning to suspect that MacRumors is the victim of a password-database hack.

    What a great feature! Love it, love it, love it. The new Spotlight is just brilliant and now does unit conversions as well. Thank you for moving it to the middle of the screen, since it's such an important feature. (one man's vomit is another man's bacon)

    Sorry, what? I am not following, but were you expecting Preview to catch up with Photoshop? :eek::rolleyes:

    This sounds like you just haven't done something properly

    Do you any further rants for me to try to resolve?

    No, it's the usual "OMG, Apple has killed my kittens and ruined the world this would not have happened if Steve Jobs was around and if the stuff wasn't made in China and why aren't all of the features like I was expecting and built specifically around my needs and why has apple forgotten about the pros" whine fest that we get every time there is a new product or software release.

    Well, I hear you, but. Just this morning I noticed two new threads made by accounts that had been idle for a year or more. In both cases the accounts had only made a few posts in their existence. Suddenly they are active again. One point is only a point but two points make a line...

    Or maybe they've been content with Mavericks and upgraded to Yosemite and are really having issues. It happens...

    I'm guessing he is referring to Adobe's PDF reader/editor they make other things besides photoshop.

    This is actually pretty common with new releases as people who made an account for help with one problem a long time ago might come back when they have a question or problem with the new release.

    So these people had no issues whatsoever with 10.8.0, or 10.9.0, but now have problems with 10.10.0? I am sure that it happens, but for me to notice two in one morning makes me wonder.

    Perhaps. Maybe the problems they experienced with those other versions were already answered by the time they searched for answers, maybe they didn't upgrade to every version.

    Y'know it IS possible to have genuine problems with Apple products.

    I'm one of them. I started having horrible UI lag today. Switching between desktops (control <>) stutters as well as all of my open/save dialogs in apps. It's like I'm running a 1999 gfx card in my Mac Pro suddenly

    Well, you are not one of the folks that I referenced in my original post. I referred to accounts that had been idle for years or years, and suddenly they are cropping up here with highly negative posts about Yosemite. You clearly have had plenty of things to say in the past year or two.

    They may have, Yosemite has been a bigger change than any of those were. Or like someone else said they may have had problems, but their questions were already answered back then.

    Then the situation is even worse because Adobe's PDF editor/reader is the biggest POS ever made.

    If you really want a "fine mess", switch to Windows 8.1

    My mistake I apparently missed the context.
