Since upgrading to Yosemite on my Late 2009 iMac i7 (16GB RAM), I get a 3-4 second beach ball when switching/clicking between different windows or apps. It's driving me nuts! At first I thought it was OSX optimizing for the first time, but it's been almost 24 hours and several resets and I still have the problem.
