Yosemite Client Support by Mavericks Server

I have a workhorse MBP on SL and an MBA on Mavericks. I also have a MacMini on Mavericks and Server 3.x. I run services on the MacMini rather than use iCloud. Everything is working fine.

If I upgrade the MBA to Yosemite, will the Mavericks Server support it? Or will I have to also upgrade the MacMini to Yosemite and 4.0 Server? I'm thinking it shouldn't be a problem. But I can't find any documentation to confirm this.

OS X Server comprises a wide variety of services. Which are you using?

I'm using contacts, calendar, file sharing, mail (for notes), time machine.
