Hi

Have upgraded recently to Yosemite, and since doing so have had frequent crashes in all the applications below.

Firefox
Safari
Chrome
Xamarin Studio
uTorrent

I have had a couple of Kernel Panics as well.

I have updated all apps to latest version and also carried out Disk Utility checks (it did find errors but corrected them, issues still continued after this)

I have ran the the Apple Hardware Test and no issues were found.

This is the first time I have experienced any issues after an OS upgrade.

My Macbook Pro is a Early 2011 13", therefore I have upgraded from 10.6 -> 10.7 -> 10.8 -> 10.9 and now 10.10.

Any one have any ideas?

Regards

Neal

Try holding the shift key when booting to do a safe mode boot. That will bypass and login or startup items and eliminate that as the cause. You may have a login or startup items that conflicts with Yosemite and a safe mode boot will confirm that.
