My computer is crashing more and more frequently.. it has been twice today already, everything locks up except the mouse, i am forced to do a hard reset and when it loads it says there was a graphics problem detected, it seems a lot of time the culprit is Safari, but crashes other times also.. i'm also seeing weird graphics glitches, such as: https://discussions.apple.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-27030567-496344/iMac+display.jpg

I have a 2012 retina macbook pro, at first i thought the GPU was on it's way out but a quick google brings up this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6646884 Is anyone else experiencing this?

Fortunately OS X is great at picking up where it left off after a crash but how long before there is some permanent damage?

yes, you are not alone. I've experienced this.

My first crash is because safari. When it load heavy graphic website, it just freeze and I have to do hard reset. Using chrome is okay though.

Second problem is, it suddenly runs very hot 93-100ºC! I never experienced this using maverick.

Also I don't know how to fix this. I just report it to Apple when the crash report pops out :confused::confused:
