Yosemite & Mac Mail - Sent Messages

Anyone else having an issue with sent messages not showing up in the 'sent' folder?

I've verified that they have indeed been sent. Only the message vanishes from Mac Mail after it's sent... will not appear in the sent folder.

Same problem exists in OS Sierra. No one seems to be able to comprehend the problem let alone solve it.

As there are settings related to "Sent" mail and the behavior may depend on your email provider and setup, perhaps you should include some details.

The OPs problem is from 2 years ago, and they've not been back since Nov 20014
