Yosemite made my computer unusable!

2012 old fashioned MBP here. It has an SSD that I put in plus 8 GB RAM I also put in. Updated to Yosemite tonight and biggest mistake ever. Beach ball every other second, pages crash, my computer is practically useless! 🙁

Anyone else have this problem?

Try a clean install, i.e not through the app store....it might fix the problems.

Download the installer from the App Store and use DiskMakerX to create a bootable Yosemite installer in a USB stick.

Start up from the USB stick and open Disk Utility to erase the internal drive.

After that, install OS X into it.

It's possible regardless of any third party hardware you have installed.

Plus 1 for a clean install. It helped me out tremendously on my mid 2011 iMac.
