    Hi Guys!

I downloaded the OSX Yosemite public beta and installed it, and everything worked fine, til I opened f ex Spotify and Logic (I havnt tried all my apps yet, mostly trying out Yosemite to see if my music apps work, Garageband is fine).

Both Spotify and Logic pro 9 is in Japanese. And it would be fine except that I dont speak a word Japanese :) Anyone else know why this happend and how to resolve it? My language is still set for Swedish and it is only a few apps that are in Japanese now (useless in other words...)

    Any help would be good!

    / Tobias

But how can you be sure it's Japanese if you don't speak Japanese? ;)

Open System Preferences > Language & Region > Language, click (+) to add the English language, and then drag it to the second position on the list, so that you have Swedish at the top (as your first language) and English next (as your second language). This might help.

If an app does not have resources for the first language on the list (the app is not translated to Swedish), OS X should use the resources for the next language on the list. If you're not using English, it's good to have English on the second position, because if an app is not translated to your language, an English version is used. If you have only one language on the list, it is possible Yosemite assumes Chineese/Japanese/whateverese as the "fallback plan" for apps not localized to your language.

Thanks a lot, my system is in French and I had some issues with softwares launching in German or Chinese. After setting English as my second favorite language after French, all these softwares (not translated in French by the editors) are now in English :)
