Yosemite Time Machine problem

I've heard about several issues regarding Time Machine in Yosemite.
Today I've tried to recover a file using Time Machine. But when I choose the folder that contains the file and go into the Time Machine and try to go back to an earlier date, I click on this date, but nothing happens. The window does not go backward. How can I solve this?

I got backups to appear in Time Machine by first turning off wifi, then entering Time Machine.
That worked a few times, then stopped working.
You may get lucky.

I use other backup methods more regularly now.
I've stopped using Time Machine until Apple fixes it.
