Its like the macbook keyboard so I love it. I dont ever use a laptop on my lap as I hate the experience.

I don't have mine yet so I can only speak to what I've experienced in the store, but I thought it typed extraordinarily well for its form and was impressed. As for it not having media keys, I guess I don't really understand the need for those on a touchscreen device made to be used without a keyboard. Volume rocker is well within reach, media controls are just a swipe up away, the home button is waiting for you to press or double press it (btw, the keyboard shortcut for home is cmd+shift+h).

I can definitely understand why some folks wouldn't like it, but its portability combined with its functionality/ease of use make it an appealing product for me. I just can't wait to get my hands on it full time!

I love it, but it does have some drawback. Play buttons and I can live without as I rarely used them over the years on any of my Macs. I think a dedicated home button and multitasking similar to the Logitech keys to go. If you are not looking for a keyboard case, that think is alittle gem. It has play buttons as well. I find typing on the keyboard pretty accurate and the way it folds into the smart cover works better than I thought. With the silicone case it makes everything much heftier, but the damn thing is so big and I amnot seven years old so it is negligible. If you are investing in the pencil and the silcone case, I think this completes the purchase. If you want to save $20.00, there is the logitech keyboard for the iPad pro, but your decison should be based on design and preference, not the mere $20.00. That keyboard is getting rather good reviews and is backlit, which was not a deciding factor for me.

I was actually surprised how much I liked the keyboard. Like the user above (#2) said, it has low travel similar to a macbook.
