Be grateful you live in the US and were able to have the opportunity to buy one the same day. Some of us live in Europe and Asia and aren't lucky enough, to even have the option of buying it the same day as launch.

Best buy lost a customer today. Went to the mall where there is a best buy and right across the hall an apple store.

Yeah, but you get to attend the royal wedding in person!!! It all evens out.

The frustrating thing was their absolute refusal about telling anyone in line the models that had available in stock yesterday, which semmed to be universal policy across all Best Buys. I waited for 3 hours at the front of the line only to discover that they never received the model I wanted. I asked several times if they had the model I wanted in stock and they had a sheet listing what they had in their friggin hands, but they wouldn't tell me. So I wasted three hours. If I was in line and they sold out of it before they got to me that's an acceptible risk I was taking, but not telling us they didn't have particular models available at ALL was terrible.

Meantime, they set up stations near the lines trying to sell us all kind of crap.

It's not the employees fault because certainy it seemed to be Best Buy policy. But it still sucked.
