You Can Get Translations Directly From the Camera App in iOS 16

In Google translate you point the camera and in real time it changes the text as if it was in the translated language all along like augmented reality. And that was like more than 5 years ago.

right and a similar exp would be good if apple made. google is jarring and if you don't have OIS it's worse. being able to "pause" the camera and then select all or just partial text makes for a much better experience. especially for those who already know a lot of the language but need to translate a specific word/character.

living in China, use translate everyday, iOS15 has been a life changer, and iOS16 is an appreciated improvement
