Actually – nobody needs any iPhone at all. They are convenient toys.
I don't give a damn what anyone else thinks. If I want it, I'll buy it, if I don't want it, I won't buy it.
I don't depend on other people's opinions. Video informational garbage for likes and and views.
This is the way. I buy an iPhone year , why ? Because I can 🤷🏻♂️
Video assumes I'm broke and/or have no way to get a new device.
I hate it when people assume things about me or try to lump me into a category.
I could get a new phone. I choose not to. Because, I don't want a new phone right now. It might be a difficult concept to wrap the mind around, but people don't need a reason to NOT buy. Just like they don't need a reason TO buy.
I'll buy when I am damn good and ready and no person who has no say in how I spend my own damn money (that I earned myself) gets a vote.
the $1199 graphic already shows me it's silly. How many people aren't trading in or selling their old phone? are there a lot of "broke" people just keeping several high value phones in drawers while they upgrade to the next? you don't Need any iphone in most cases
That’s cool but we don’t need some clout-chasing Youtuber to lecture us on what tech products we should or should not buy.
Not necessarily an iPhone, but i couldn’t do my work without a smartphone, because i wouldn’t be able to access anything without the authenticator app
But honestly even the cheapest one would do everything i use it for..

when most americans can't cover a $400 emergency, most shouldn't get a new iPhone.
Those that can, great. Hope you are fully funding your retirement before a phone and not charging credit card to get the phone though. But....not my problem or concern, just advice

Also, I noticed the YouTuber liked someone's comment that took a slam at anyone in general purchasing a new iPhone. Even if they aren't broke buying it.
It's just all incredibly silly, if you think I'm defensive for pointing that out, oh well I guess...When you click her channel the first thing you see other than a bunch of videos about other peoples' overconsumption and spending too much is... her amazon storefront and a list of all the totally frivolous items you should buy to give her commissions lol. If she was one of the youtubers sponsored by Apple I'm sure her tune would change
Wow she really hates when people buy things she doesn't consider important. I agree that overconsumption is a problem, but I refuse to take financial advice from youtubers with amazon storefronts
Honestly I kind of hate financial youtubers in general. Yeah yeah we all know we don't NEED a new phone if our old one still works, but if I wanted to live a life based on needs only I'd go be a homesteader. My bills are paid, my child is fed, and I'm not in debt so I'm going to buy a new iPhone every year if I want. Life is about more than just needs.
