You know what'd be genius?

    It would be nice to be able to dowload an iOS update (patch), such as the one now available (4.0.2) via a secured connection through Apples website.

    This would be quite similar to the method used for the most recent jailbreak www.jailbreakme.com

    Anybody care to explain why Apple doesn't offer this?

    Because iTunes backs-up your phone before it applies the update (just incase something goes wrong during the update process)your data will saved.

    That's my opinion

    I hope Wi-Fi syncing becomes available sometime in the future.

    Why doesn't apple just update parts of the OS like individual apps? Craziness
